Who I am
Tee Sang is not a name tied to a single medium. Watercolor trains me to observe color and light, photography to judge when to press the shutter, and writing to think again about what I have seen. AI is a newer tool on the worktable. I use it to organize knowledge, build websites, and check content, while recording what actually works and what remains uncertain.
"Tee" comes from a hand-drawn symbol I made years ago, connected with starting again after returning to Shanghai. "Sang" was first added because an online username was already taken, and gradually became part of the name people knew. "Tee · Shanghai" on this website keeps that name and identifies the city where I now live and work.

An evolving creative path
2010 Picking up a paintbrush again
After returning to Shanghai, I began painting watercolor systematically. The ideas of "bringing painting into life" and "learning to live" once found their way into the name Huisenhuo, which brought together painting, a forest, and life.
2013 Pet watercolors and online teaching
Sanmu and other pets entered my paintings. Pet portrait commissions, records of the painting process, and online watercolor teaching gradually became actual working experience.
2016 to 2019 Continuing to learn and look
From further study in painting to a study trip in Taiwan, photography and travel provided more than reference material. They also changed how I understood images and cities.
2020 to the present Continuing to create in Shanghai
My life became centered in Shanghai again. Writing grew more active, with the Sanmu Memoir, a novel, WeChat articles, and projects made with AI progressing alongside one another.
What this website records
This is both a portfolio and an evolving factual account of my work. Paintings and photographs preserve the results of looking; articles preserve the process of thinking. Service pages answer a more practical question: how can we work together now?
If you would like to begin with the work, return to the portfolio on the homepage. If you already have a specific need, you can send a private inquiry.
Elsewhere
I also share work and thoughts on these platforms, mainly in Chinese. My WeChat public account is Tee桑说 (Tee Sang Says).

Is everything on the website available to buy?
No. Many of the watercolors and photographs are studies or part of my personal archive, and are not automatically for sale. Work available to commission is described on its own service page.
How can I contact Tee Sang?
You can add the public WeChat ID teesoho, or use the private inquiry form on the homepage to describe a learning, commission, or collaborative project you have in mind.
